Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau Auto Theft Unit have made additional arrests and laid more charges stemming from a high-end vehicle theft investigation.
In July 2024, an investigation into a group of individuals responsible for break-and-enters and high-end vehicle thefts across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) began. Through Project Chicago and Project Blue Streak, police arrested multiple individuals and executed several search warrants, which recovered stolen vehicles and two illegal firearms.

During the ongoing investigation, evidence of prior firearm and property-related offences committed by two of those previously involved was discovered.
It is alleged that in the summer of 2024, the pair was in a stolen vehicle and in possession of an illegal firearm which was recklessly discharged from the moving vehicle at an unknown target.
As a result of this additional evidence, through Project Repo, investigators executed additional search warrants at two residences in Toronto on Jan. 23 where a large amount of stolen property was recovered and the two individuals listed below were arrested.
Cody Watts, a 22-year-old man from Toronto was charged with the following additional offences:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Discharge Firearm in Reckless Manner
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (X3)
- Drive Under Suspension
Isabella Krolow, a 22-year-old woman from Toronto was charged with the following additional offences:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Discharge Firearm in Reckless Manner
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Both were held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
